How to add SMS credit and enabling auto recharge of credit
Adding SMS credits
To add SMS credits, you will need to navigate to Settings > SMS Settings (under communications).
Located towards the top of the page you will see the drop down menu to purchase credits manually. You can see the rate at which you will purchase credits listed as "SMS cost". By clicking on the drop down, you'll be able to select the number of credits that you wish to purchase. The options available are 500, 1000, 2500 or 5000.
Once you've selected the amount you wish to purchase, simply hit the "Purchase Credits" button and the system will automatically charge your card on file (used to pay your subscription). You should then see the amount of credit you applied added to your balance. Please be aware that without any credits, no SMS messages will be sent to your patients. To ensure this doesn't occur, we highly reccomend using our Auto Recharge feature which we will detail below...
To save yourself time, you may want to enable the "Auto Recharge" function for SMS credits. This handy time-saver will automatically top up your credits when they fall below a certain amount. You choose when it recharges and the amount.
Open up the sidebar by clicking on the menu button in the top left corner of the screen and click on "Settings" followed by "SMS Settings" . This will take you to the SMS Settings screen whereby you can view your balance, top up your account etc.
From the SMS Settings page, you will first see your account balance. Below this, you will see the option for "auto-recharge". Make sure to check the "Enabled" tick box. Below this, you will see two boxes. The first will allow you to input the value at which you wish for the recharge to occur at and below, the amount you wish to top up by. Make sure to click the blue save button at the bottom of the page.
SMS Sender name
You will also note that in the above screenshot, you will see this is where you change the name of who the SMS is sent from. You must have something in this box to ensure your SMS messages are sent.
